Background
Our customer was in the early stages of renovating a Barn Conversion. They were looking for an efficient heating system that would provide even heat distribution throughout the house. After researching various options, they decided to install an underfloor heating system.
Installation
The installation process began with an assessment of the existing flooring to ensure optimal heat distribution. The underfloor heating pipes were then laid out in a continuous circuit throughout the area. The system chosen for the project was a wet system which circulates water through the pipes and is heated by an air source heat pump. The installation process was completed within one week.
Outcome
The installation of underfloor heating in the converted barn provided many benefits. Firstly, the even distribution of heat throughout the space provided a comfortable and consistent temperature, ensuring that no chilly spots were left unheated. Secondly, the system was entirely hidden, allowing the owners to maximize space and style with no obtrusive radiators or vent covers detracting from the design. And finally, the underfloor heating system was energy-efficient, offering cost savings on utility bills.
Conclusion
In conclusion, the installation of underfloor heating in the barn conversion provided many advantages, including even heat distribution, energy efficiency, cost savings, and ease of installation which cut down final costs. The wet system was an excellent choice for this construction project and provided the homeowners with an affordable and comfortable heating solution that they were extremely satisfied with.
