LPG gas boiler installation x 2, hot and cold pipework, LPG gas fire and radiator installation
Overview
Nixon Plumbing and Heating were contracted by a private customer in a rural location near Denbigh to install 2 x Worcester 8000 life 45kw LPG gas combi boilers and an additional LPG gas fire. The client wanted both systems to split the property into two separate dwellings so they decided to renew all pipework at the same time.
Installation
The installation process started with a site survey and assessment of the property’s heating requirements. Our team of experts at Nixon Plumbing and Heating designed a system to meet the customer’s specific needs. The installation was carried out in different stages throughout a major renovation of the property. The first fix of the pipework, installation of two Worcester LPG gas boilers, 1 LPG gas fire and the second fix of radiators throughout the property took us 4 weeks in total to complete.
The Worcester 8000 life 45kw combi boiler has an output of 43.5kw and also has an excellent 18.3 litres per minute flow rate. The boilers are also 94% efficient for heat and hot water and hold an A energy efficiency rating. This energy-efficient system is low maintenance and has significantly reduced the customer’s energy bills.
Outcome
The customer was extremely satisfied with the work completed by Nixon Plumbing and Heating. After having extensive talks about which system would work best at the property the client decided to go down the LPG gas route. There are not always a lot of options for clients in rural areas and after carrying out different calculations for LPG, oil and an air source heat pump it was decided that this was the only viable and cost-effective option. The customer was extremely satisfied with the end result and also has both Worcester boilers registered on a 12-year warranty scheme due to Nixon Plumbing and Heating being an accredited Worcester installer.
